BUILT TO WORK WITH LAWMATE HD CAMERAS
For HD video capture you must use the CMD-BU20U or CMDBU-13LXU Button Camera. This new version will not accept inputs from any previous HD button camera. If you have an analog camera with the 2.5mm connector you’ll be fine. And if you are in doubt please reach out to us.
Non-LawMate Camera and Thermal Imager Support
While the full video quality of this system can only be realized by using LawMate HD Cameras like the CMDBU-13LXU or CMD-BU20U you can still use your own analog cameras with the included RCA male patch cord.
And if you have a BNC connection, don’t worry; there’s an adapter for that. We also get a lot of requests from thermal imager and scope users. This system is fully compatible with virtually all devices with a video output. You might need to get an adapter so give us a call.
1080P HD Resolution at 1280 X 960 Adjustable
While Lawmate gives the user full throttle control over just about every aspect of this DVR you’ll be able to adjust your resolution from 720 X 480, 1024 X 768, 1280 X 720, and 1280 X 960.
Multiple Recording Modes
Every covert video mission is different. Why should you be stuck with one record mode? Choose between Preview, Pre-Event, Pre-Motion, and Motion Detection recording modes.
AVI or MOV Output Format
Lawmate listens. And the most requested feature has finally been added. With the new PV-500EVO 2U you’ll be able to select your file type! Simply select AVI or MOV from the File Type option in the settings menu. You asked and Lawmate delivered.
100% End User Accountability Log
As with any evidence there must be a solid custody chain so that there is absolutely no doubt as to the authenticity of captured footage. The built in password protected action log gives the administrator full access to every function performed by the user.
Easy Video Playback
Play your video back right on the PV-500EVO2U or download the files to your computer. You can also use the video out cables to play the video on your TV or DVD Recorder to make ready to play DVDs.
